Karol-Warner Load Frames offer a variety of strain rates, making them an optimal choice for California Bearing Ratio tests as well as other soil testing applications when fitted with proper available components. Our full line of Load Frames can be viewed on the main Load Frames page.

Most frames have load capacities of 10,000lbf (44.5kN), and select models have 20,000lbf (89kN) capacity. The frames are formulated from enamel-coated, 14-gauge steel and designed to last even in harsh laboratory surroundings. Vertical rods have coarse threads to allow for quick changes in crosshead height to accommodate variable sample heights. Nuts and rods are manufactured to resist corrosion. Frames come with a protective boot to safeguard the loading screw.
