The Permeability Compaction Hammer is used to compact remolded soil samples into soil permeameters. The drop-hammer is equipped with a sliding weight and has a 2in (50.8mm) diameter tamping foot. Height of drop is adjustable from 4 to 8in (102 to 203mm). Weights included are 100g (0.22lb) and 1kg (2.2lb).
