Tapping Sieve Shakers

Tapping Sieve Shakers from Gilson Company provide accurate, repeatable separations of a broad range of material sizes and types. Efficient sieving action is enhanced by two-way vertical tapping at 48 taps per minute to assist in clearing near-size particles from the sieve openings and redistribute. A unique counterbalanced drive mechanism promotes stable operation and consistent results.

The efficient push-button EZ-Clamp system quickly secures and releases sieve stacks. The digital timer automatically resets to programmed test time at the end of each cycle. Models are available to operate on 115V/60Hz or 230V/50Hz power supply and hold up to 20 sieves, depending on the selected unit and sieve size.

Tapping Sieve Shaker for 8in Sieves is effective for most materials with particle sizes from 1in to No. 635 (25mm to 20µm) and holds 20 8in half-height or 10 8in full-height sieves plus pan. 200mm ISO sieves can also be used. Inquire for adaptors to fit 3in, 6in, and 10in diameter sieves.

Tapping Sieve Shaker for 8in/12in Sieves is recommended for particle sizes from 2in to No. 635 (50mm to 20µm) of most materials and holds 13 12in half-height, 10 12in intermediate height, or 6 12in full-height sieves. 12in sieves have more than twice the sieving area of 8in sieves, allowing larger sample sizes. 300mm ISO sieves can also be used, and an adapter for 8in (203mm) or 200mm sieves is included.
